Mainak Bhaumik's upcoming rom-com 'Ghare And Baire' is all set to release on March 30. The film stars
Jisshu Sengupta and
Koel Mallick in the lead. The posters with fairy tale inspired illustrations, soul-touching music and the romantic yet funny trailer has already become a hit among the social media enthusiasts.
While speaking about the movie and its cute pair recently, Bhaumik reportedly revealed that while sketching the lead characters, he infused his Bengali sensibilities with experience of watching films directed by renowned filmmaker
Woody Allen.
A huge admirer of romantic-comedies around the world, the extremely talented director named the protagonists, Amit and
Lavanya, from
Rabindranath Tagore's popular novel Sesher Kobita.
The director, who made films like 'Bedroom' (2012), 'Maach Mishti & More' (2013), 'Aami Aar Amar Girlfriends' (2013) and 'Bibaho Diaries' (2017), also utilised the shell and coral bangles to maintain the traditional mark of a Bengali bride and a fairy tale like setting for the movie poster to depict the timeless theme of a love story.
As per the narrative, it's a cute love story of Amit and Lavanya that endures many hurdles in a comic and dramatic way in the age of Instagram and Facebook. While Lavanya has been portrayed with tomboyish attributes, Amit seems to be a typically romantic, nervous guy.
