Joy, Sanyantika team up again

The Joy and Sayantika jodi is back with ���������Shooter���������
The ���������Hangover��������� of the Joy-Sayantika jodi���������s still there. Why else would the director duo of Pravash and Arijit ���������Target��������� a film with them? Titled ���������Shooter��������� , this action flick will try to recreate the magic of the fastbecoming-popular Tolly jodi on-screen .
Says Arijit about Joy, ���������I liked his work in ���������Target��������� and felt that Joy was bestsuited for Deba���������s character in the film. What���������s more, even Joy was interested in the part.���������
Giving a peek into the storyline, which has been penned by the director duo, Arijit adds, ���������Deba���������s father is a teacher. In a sad turn of events, he sees his parents being murdered right before his eyes at a tender age. It is hard for Deba to get over this memory. In course of time, he becomes an expert gambler and, by a twist of fate, ends up as a don during his trip from Siliguri to Kolkata.���������But once he comes into power, Deba spells doom for many in the business circuit as he usurps their economic power and uses it to run an orphanage, which so far, was managed by Meghna, essayed by Sayantika. What happens next is how the plot of ���������Shooter��������� meanders into a climax.
About Sayantika, Arijit continues, ���������For a soft character like Meghna, Sayantika���������s was the only name that came to our mind.��������� The actor, too, is excited to have bagged the offer. ���������It feels great that Joy and I will be working together again. We have had positive responses about our jodi post- ���������Hangover��������� and ���������Target��������� . I hope, we can continue with the magic in future. In fact, many have asked when we would be cast together again,��������� says Sayantika, adding, ���������As far as the role is concerned, it is a positive one and gives me enough scope to show my acting prowess.���������
The shooting for ���������Shooter��������� , which also has Ashish Vidyarthi playing the villainous role of the home minister, will commence from April 15.
