Kamaleswar and fellow doctors extend support to Covid-19 patients
Kamaleswar Mukhopadhyay, along with his team of medical and non-medical volunteers, has geared up to offer medical assistance to people in need. They are creating volunteer groups to extend support, especially to those who are in home isolation.
The team is trying to do the followings:
1. Creation of safe homes with doctor - nurse - health workers' support
2.
1x1 polls
Getting oxygen concentrators for localities
3. Gathering non-medical volunteers
4. Organising crowd fundings
5. Creating a crisis-response team of medical volunteers
6. Ensuring availability of medicines at MRP so that black marketing is stopped.
While talking to us, Kamaleswar said, “We feel these are the need of the hour, not just for our country, but also for our state. We are trying to organise youngsters and doctors’ teams to build a sustainable system so that we could help at least some people.”
