Kanchan Mullick set to debut in Bollywood with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’; Seeks blessings from the audience

Kanchan Mullick is set to tick a box from his bucket list. The well-known Bengali actor-politician is set to take a huge step in his acting career this year. Kanchan is set to debut in Bollywood with his first Hindi film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. The Bengali actor-politician recently took to social media to share the news with his fans and followers.
Sharing a photo of a box of gifts, Kanchan broke the news on the internet.The actor-politician attached a note to the post where he wrote, “I have been working in Bengali Industry for 33 years, Bengal has given me a lot of respect and fame, but when I go to work in another industry, I feel fear like the first day, but when I reach there, people accept me like Bengali Industry. Then it seems to me that it is a separate achievement for me,I will thank God, for bringing me as an actor home to people, I am eternally grateful to you for the love you have given to a little actor for so long, same way I will still seek your love and blessings for my another new work, probably release next Diwali, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3….I would like to thank the entire team of bhool bhulaiya 3, for cooperating and working with me.”
Kanchan Mullick has been a known face in the Bengali entertainment industry for over three decades. The actor is recognised for his comic-timing in films. However, lately the actor has been dragged into several controversies due to personal life and unhinged comments in the political sphere. Kanchan currently is TMC MLA in the Uttarpara constituency.

Earlier this year, Kanchan tied the knot with Bengali TV actress Sreemoyee Chattoraj after years of denying their rumoured affair. The duo got legally married on February 14, after Kanchan’s divorce was finalised with his ex-wife Pinky Banerjee in January this year. After registering their marriage legally, Kanchan and Sreemoyee went on to take the wedding vows in a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony on March 2. After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a reception party for their colleagues and friends. Kanchan and Sreemoyee jetted off to Maldives for their honeymoon after the ‘Krishnakoli’ famed actress celebrated her first birthday post marriage in June.
