Kaushik Ganguly’s overjoyed and should be!

Kaushik Ganguly is a happy man. The director, many of whose works have been feted at festivals in India and abroad, has reasons to be so. Only last year, his Bishorjon starring Jaya Ahsan, Abir Chatterjee and he himself, was adjudged as the Best Bengali film and this time around, his Nagar Kirtan won big at the 65^thNational Film Awards. Four awards — Special Jury, Best Actor, Best Costume, Best Makeup Artist — went to the film.Talking about it, the director said, “It’s one of my most important works till date and I am happy that the film has been honoured with four awards. It means a lot. I am talking to my team and I feel out of this world.”
