In an emotional post on social media, Mimi reminisced about her first "passive adoption," which also took place in February. She had adopted a cancer-stricken puppy at the time, though sadly, the pup did not survive. "My first passive adoption was here in February, and I named the pup 'February.' Unfortunately, it had cancer, and we couldn’t save it. Today, I am passively adopting another pup and naming it February," she shared.

Mimi has since become a strong advocate for animal adoption and welfare. She emphasized the importance of adopting animals, not only by bringing them into one's home but also by supporting shelters in other ways. "I appeal to everyone to please come here and adopt.
