Gaurav Pandey is all for dreaming big. The Shukno Lanka maker, whos ready with his Hanuman.com, is set to begin his next SaalaSwapnochor from January. Starring in the lead is funnyman Mir.
The film a comedy deals with a man, a tent and a road.

Its a road movie. Life, after all, is a journey and roads always fascinate me. After I finished writing the script, I realized the one man fit to be my protagonist is Mir. Its his larger-than-life wackiness that made me zero in on him. Helping me put the project together is Joy Ganguly, says Gaurav.
The director, who is planning to shoot in north Bengal, isnt baffled by the current unrest in the Hills. By the time we begin to shoot, Im hopeful that things will be a lot better. But then travel is what you achieve after a lot of trouble, he guffaws. The director says the film will have many characters, but the focus is on the road and the man who embarks on his journey. Im yet to finalize the films heroine. Im looking for a leading lady, who has a star quotient, but Im yet to lock any name. Music will be scored by Jeet Gannguli.
Ask the director if SaalaSwapnochor bears resemblances to Christopher Nolans Inception, where the thief (Leonardo DiCaprio) would infiltrate the subconscious of his targets and he says, Here swapno doesnt stand for dreams, but aspirations. Theres absolutely no similarity.
