Mithun’s son: My dad is completely fine and healthy, not COVID positive

Social media was abuzz earlier today with speculations on Mithun Chakraborty’s COVID-19 report after an entertainment magazine tweeted that the veteran actor has tested positive. The news spread like wildfire before the actor and his family cleared the air, saying it was nothing but a hoax. When we reached out to his son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Mimoh, he said, “My dad is completely fine and healthy.He is busy working. What you are hearing is just a rumour.”
Mithun is currently in Kolkata. Besides political rallies, he has also been busy shooting for a popular dance reality show in Bengal as a celebrity judge, along with Dev and Monami Ghosh.
