Paoli has no time to respite. The actress flew to Mumbai on Tuesday to wrap up a series of work that got stalled because of the second wave of pandemic. Besides her shooting for ongoing OTT productions, the actress will also complete her commitments in Bengali films.
“All the work was stopped because of the second wave of the pandemic. Now I will have to clear the backlogs.
I will be in Mumbai for 10 days and then I will have another round of outdoor shooting schedule. After I come back, I will start working with Leenadi (Gangopadhyay. Leena, along with
Saibal Banerjee, will start working on Khelaghor that will also feature Srabanti and Dev),” Paoli told us.
Meanwhile, The actress has also completed shooting Arjunn Dutta’s Biryani, a part of an anthology, Three Course Meal, also directed by Indrasis Acharya and
Shieladitya Moulik. Elaborating the experience, Paoli said, “Arjunn is a very disciplined and methodical director. I loved working with him. He knows what he wants and he has a very good sense of aesthetics.”
Arjunn, who directed Paoli for the first time, was also elated. “It was a fantastic experience working with Paolidi. Like me and several members of my team, Paolidi practises Buddhism. We used to start our shoot by chanting. That was ethereal. It was a new team and working with Paolidi was a pleasure.”
