Parineeta, Mayurakshi and Abby Sen to be remade?

After news of Rudranil Ghosh’s Chocolate being remade in Tamil and Telugu, here comes the news of offers for the Hindi remake of Raj Chakraborty’s Parineeta starring Subhashree Ganguly. Talks are also on for remaking Atanu Ghosh’s Mayurakshi and Abby Sen.
Said Raj, “A big production house is in talks with me for remaking Parineeta in Hindi. It is supposed to have a big
star too.We are currently sorting out the financial aspect. If all goes well, this will be my first film to be remade in another language.” Meanwhile, there are offers to remake Soumitra Chatterjee and Prosenjit Chatterjee’s Mayurakshi. “We have offers to remake it in Malayalam. There are also offers to remake Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen’s Abby Sen in Marathi,” Atanu said.
