‘Piya Re’: Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee look adorable in the new poster ahead of the official trailer launch

Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee, who were last seen together in Birsa Dasgupta's super hit movie ‘Sudhu Tomari Jonyo’, have now reunited for another movie. Their upcoming film ‘Piya Re’ is a romantic drama involving a man from a middle-class background and a woman coming from a slum area.
Abhimanyu Mukherjee is donning the director’s hat for this film. Touted to be an unconventional love saga, it promises to bring a different side of love.Ahead of the trailer release, the makers recently launched the second poster of ‘Piya Re’ featuring Soham and Srabanti.

The Soham and Srabanti pair, who have given hits like ‘Amanush’ and ‘Fande Poria Boga Kande Re’ is quite excited for this reunion. Soham’s latest film ‘Rong Beronger Kori’ directed by Ranjan Ghosh has received above the average rating from the critics. However, the year didn’t start well for Soham as his another comedy film ‘Honeymoon’ failed completely at the box-office.
Meanwhile, Srabanti is on cloud nine as her latest release ‘Uma’ is doing exceptionally well at the box-office since its release on June 1.
