There is no stopping Parambrata Chatterjee. The actor has completed his directorial venture, Sonar Pahar, with the famous pair of Teen Bhubaner Pare — Tanuja and Soumitra Chatterjee. The film, which also stars Parambrata, Jisshu U Sengupta, Gargee RoyChowdhury, Arunima Ghosh, is about the relationship between a 70-year-old and a 7-year-old. Talking about the film, Parambrata had once said, "Sonar Pahar is a metaphor.Often children develop stories with elders who are close to them. They believe in those stories and also that if they manage to get into that imaginary world, it will end all their problems. This film is also about that."
