Priyanka takes Covid test before London shoot

Model-actress Priyanka Mondal will soon be seen opposite actor Saswata Chatterjee in director Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s next film, Anusandhan. Priyanka portrays the role of Saswata’s wife and the film's team is scheduled to fly off to London for the shoot in the coming week. Sharing with us her excitement of being a part of the project, Priyanaka said, “I first got the opportunity to work with Kamaleshwar Mukherjee in his short film, The Hunger Artist, and it was a great experience.I got to learn a lot and now this is my second movie with him, where I am paired alongside Saswatada. I am playing the character of his wife, who belongs from a royal family. She is very sweet natured and how the chemistry brews between Saswatada and me will form a major part of the story. I am very excited to work with Saswatada again after Asche Abar Shabor. The film’s first schedule of shoot is in London and the second schedule will be in Kolkata.”
The actress will be flying off to London on September 16 but before that a lot of precautionary measures are being taken by the entire unit. “We have gone through a Covid-19 test and everyone has tested negative. I have heard that once we land in London, we will have to go through the test again. Of course, I am feeling a bit tensed to leave the country amidst the pandemic but we have to now learn to live with the virus until the vaccine is available. But I am super excited and can't wait to get back on the sets. I am so glad to be a part of this film and it’s the only good thing that has happened to me since the lockdown,” added Priyanka.
