Prodyut Mukherjee remembers Ustad Zakir Hussain on the occasion of 211 foundation day of the Indian Museum

A grand musical tribute to the tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain was paid by percussionist Prodyut Mukherjee on the occasion of the 211th Foundation Day celebrations the Indian Museum.
Resonating Rhythms - a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Ustad Zakir Hussain by percussionist Prodyut Mukherjee, captivated the audience. The event celebrated the timeless legacy of rhythm, tradition, and cultural heritage.
Mukherjee performed his own GiMA award winning composition ' Within You', followed by mouth percussion, effects of two passing by trains on the tabla and so on. Younger flutist performed the Krishna Theme. At the end of the event musicians performed Vande Mataram. "It's a privilege indeed that I could perform on such a historical day," said Mukherjee.
