We all know Raima Sen’s family legacy which comes from one of the legendary families of Bengali cinema, none other than the late Suchitra Sen. The Bengali diva is the granddaughter of the iconic actress. On Sunday, Raima took to her Twitter handle to share an extremely rare picture of Suchitra Sen in a western outfit from her family album and captioned it, “My grandma.”

While Suchitra Sen breathed her last four years ago, her legacy in Bengali cinema truly refuses to leave the hearts of every cine buff in India.Being an iconic beauty and an utterly talented actress of her times, we have seen the matinee queen in different outfits. Be it a traditional saree or western outfit, Suchitra Sen used to steal hearts in any dress.
For a large part of her life, she maintained a mysterious image to her countless fans and even closed ones. Rumour has it, during the final moments of her life, even her daughter Moon Moon Sen and granddaughter Raima didn’t have the permission to invade this solitude.
