Sreelekha Mitra, whose last appearance as Pori Pishi in ‘Rainbow Jelly’ received a good response, was reportedly shocked to see the film being pulled out midweek from a leading multiplex chain in Kolkata. But she is happy for her little co-star Mahabrata and is all praise for the kid.

Being a self-funded and shoestring budget film,
Soukarya Ghosal’s ‘Rainbow Jelly’ has been widely praised by the audience and critics, with the Bengali industry's seniors backing the food fantasy film on social media.
Sreelekha also reportedly said she believes the word of mouth promotion actually takes time and that the film only started to get houseful screenings when it was pulled out. She further added that this often happens to those films which are so-called "underdogs."
Meanwhile, there is good news for director Soukarya Ghosal as ‘Rainbow Jelly’ will be screened in Bengaluru on June 10.
