Ranjan Ghosh elated to present the Satyajit Ray Memorial Lecture

Ranjan Ghosh whose latest offering ‘Ahaa Re’ continues to win hearts is super excited and why not? The acclaimed director will be presenting the 'Satyajit Ray Memorial Lecture' at the Sister Nivedita University today on the 98^th birth anniversary of Ray.
Ranjan took to his social media handle to pay his tribute to the auteur and also admitted how honoured he feels for this opportunity.
He wrote: “Had it not been for #Him, I would not be in films today. It is a matter of great honour to present the 'Satyajit Ray Memorial Lecture' at the Sister Nivedita University, New Town, tomorrow, on his 98th birthday. Ecstatic. Excited. Nervous. Thanks to SNU for inviting me to this momentous occasion.”

Every discussion on cinema will remain incomplete unless you mention the legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray; the only Indian to win an Academy Award (Oscar). Ray’s works always came with a new lesson for aspiring filmmakers.
He made 36 movies in a career spanning 37 years. Some say, Ray thought he had no other choice but to keep directing movies so that his team is never left unemployed and their families are well taken care of. Every single movie is so good that it’s not possible to make list based on superiority.
