Ranveer Singh receives birthday love from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ co-star Tota Roy Choudhury

Karan Johar has already declared it a ‘ROCKY day’ as Ranveer Singh celebrates his birthday today and now his co-star from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, Tota Roy Choudhury, has just sent the most adorable birthday wish to the dashing actor.
Tota took to his Twitter handle and shared a handsome picture of Ranveer along with a heartfelt birthday message that read, “#YouthIcon#MultiAwardWinningActor#SUPERSTAR but above all, one of the #NICEST humans on this planet.Happy Birthday @RanveerOfficial You will forever remain #Rocky to me.”

Interestingly, Tota Roy Choudhury plays the father of Alia's character Rani Chatterjee, the love interest of Ranveer’s character Rocky in the Karan Johar-directed film. We have already seen a few glimpses of their funny banters in the trailer and absolutely loved it.
Earlier in the day, Karan Johar sent his birthday wishes for Ranveer in the most filmy way. The ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ director took to Instagram and shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the film along with his birthday note for Ranveer. “It’s ROCKY day!!!! Happiest birthday to this magnanimous force of nature…thank you for giving all your heart to our kahaani…Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Lots of love to you always❤️❤️❤️," he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Tota who plays Alia’s father in the film will be seen as an acclaimed classical dancer. Since Alia takes on the role of a Bengali girl Karan was looking to cast someone as her father in the most authentic way possible. Tota being a Bengali seemed a perfect fit. The versatile actor even learned Kathak for almost a year in order to prep up for the role.
