Riju bags a role in Jole Jongole

Riju is flaunting a full kitty and the actor couldn���������t be happier. Not only has he bagged a role in Nitish Roy���������s ���������Jole Jongole���������, but the actor will also be seen in the Hindi version of the film, which is titled ���������Gehra Paani���������.
Says Riju, ���������Right now, I���������m shooting the songs for the Bengali and Hindi versions.I���������m Deep in both the versions. He is bohemian by nature. I sport a pony tail and have my ears pierced. The Hindi version will have me talking in a Haryanvi dialect. Since I am from Delhi, I am conversant in this style of talking. In fact, Nitishda and I sat down and discussed Deep���������s character. We wanted to give it something different and, this idea struck us.��������� Riju will be romancing Mumtaz in the Hindi version too.
The actor is also part of Partho Ganguly���������s film, where he gets behind the wheels. ���������I play a driver here. My character is called Rata. It is actually Ratan but he is nicknamed Rata. Ratan dreams big but is not ready to slog for it. His life changes when he is assigned the task of driving a vintage car from North Bengal to Kolkata. During the course of the journey, Ratan falls in love with this car.���������
While Alok Roy���������s ���������Chaal��������� is set for a January release, Riju has already come on board for the filmmaker���������s as yet untitled suspense thriller. ���������I gave my nod to this one as there is a huge twist in the end about the person���������s character. The audience won���������t know till the end whether I am good or bad. As of now, my name is Rahul. I start canning the shots from the last week of February,��������� he adds.
From February first week, Riju will be busy shooting for Subendu���������s project. ���������The project features Tanusree and Rudranil apart from me. She is a schizophrenic. Tanusree���������s character is in love with Riju, a band guitarist. Incidentally, I���������ll be called Riju here. But for some reason, she wants him out of his life. And Rudra���������s character helps her here.���������
With a diverse fare in his kitty, Riju is set to make it big.
