Saswata to play a local goon in Raja Sen’s film

After two years director Raja Sen is all set for his comeback with ‘Bhalobasar Golpo’. While Saswata Chatterjee will be seen playing a local goon, Debika is set for her debut in this film. Supriyo Dutta, Rupanjana Maitra, Chitra Sen and others will also be seen in pivotal roles in this social drama.
‘Bhalobasar Golpo’ narrates a touching story of a widowed woman and her child and their struggle for existence.How the woman survives with her dignity and chastity and how she manages to continue the treatment of her child is what the film all about. It also sheds light on some serious issues in our society. The music of the film has been composed by Nachiketa and Partha Sengupta.
Meanwhile, Saswata will also be seen in a murder mystery ‘Rashsymoy’. The film also stars Anindya Chatterjee, Saayoni Ghosh, Amrita Chattopadhyay and others in key roles. While the script is by Padmanabha Dasgupta, Nabarun Bose is composing the music. Interestingly, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury for the first time has lent her voice for a rap song in this film.
