Saswata turns film director for Black Coffee

On Monday, Saswata Chatterjee was seen shooting with Koel Dhar for Atanu Bose's Black Coffee. Saswata plays a director in the movie that also stars Paoli and Badsha Moitra.
"The story depicts the relationship between a director and an actress. Saswata Chatterjee is playing the male lead. The film shows how my character becomes creatively dependent on the director, who is also married. Theirs is an undefined relationship ��� is it love or plain dependence? I just loved the script since it has many emotional layers," informed Paoli.

Saswata, who is portraying a filmmaker for the second time in his career, after Meghe Dhaka Taara, says that while in the previous one, his character was inspired by Ritwick Ghatak, the character in Black Coffee has shades of Satyajit Ray.
