Punascho director Souvik Mitra made a revelation during the film's premiere on Friday. He said, the film was originally supposed to be titled Baishe Srabon. While any person who watches the film would realize how apt that name would have been, the rain-soaked evening was all about `remembering'. Mitra got emotional conveying how his mentor Rituparno Ghosh would have reacted to his film and actress Sayani Ghosh bravely dedicated the movie to her brother who passed away recently.
I know wherever he is, dada is proud of me and my film, she said.
But it was RoopaGanguly
, who after cracking a few jokes about her age and ageing, delivered a poignant message, saying, This film will help youngsters view their parents as someone who used to be just like them, who still have their individuality and wishes and dreams.PS: the message has been received by one and all!
