Shaheb Chattopadhyay
turned a year older today. The actor, who is celebrating his
birthday
with his family, feels that no matter what age he is at, birthdays are always special. What are his birthday resolutions, we asked him? “There is no resolution as such. I always pray to God that each day that I live, I should try to be a better human being as that is what matters the most. To me, age is just a number so I want the child in me to remain immortal forever,” said the actor. He added, "Ma used to cook on my birthday and serve me on a silver plate. But now she can't cook anymore owing to her age, so my wife is cooking today under ma's instructions! Today's lunch consisted of pulao, chingri macher malaikari, mutton kosha,
fish fry
, five types of vegetable fries and payesh. Ma has given me cash to buy something I like. My wife has gifted me a jacket and perfumes."
At night, Shaheb's friends will come over for dinner. "We will order mutton biryani and chicken chaap. Firni is a must on birthdays as diet takes a backseat on this day," said the actor. Shaheb just completed shooting for Shieladittya Moulick's film Lukochuri wherein he plays a character of an obsessed father. "I did two playbacks for a film which is based on
Uttam
Kumar's life. They will be picturised on
Saswata Chatterjee," informed Shaheb.
