Susmita Chatterjee will be visiting her parents in Kulti after two years this Poila Boishakh. “Poila Boishakh is also my mother’s (Gargi Chatterjee) birthday and I’m going to celebrate it with her this time. I couldn’t go last year because of the second wave, and in 2020, because of the nationwide lockdown. I’m also looking forward to meeting my school friends,” said the model-turned actress.
When asked about her gift for her mother, Sushmita said, “Ma loves perfumes, so I bought one for her as her birthday gift.
I’ve also ordered her favourite -strawberry cake. I’ve also bought a sari for ma and a panjabi for baba.”
Revealing that she last met my parents on the New Year, she said, “They came to meet me but I couldn’t travel to Kulti in the past few months because of work commitments. So, I am looking forward to this trip. On Poila Boishakh, I’ll be wearing a handloom sari that ma had gifted me last year.”
On the work front, Susmita will start shooting for Chengiz from the end of April, opposite
Jeet. “The audience will get to see me in a new look in the film. I’ll also start dubbing for Kacher Manush soon,” she said.
