A year after hanging up his boots,
Dwayne Bravo is returning to the Trinbago Knight Riders — not as a player, but as head coach. For the former all-rounder, the move marks both a homecoming and a new chapter.
“It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to be head coach of a team that’s very close to my heart,” Bravo said, reflecting on his deep connection with TKR. “I would like to personally thank the previous coach for his time and commitment over the last few years, and now I look forward to this new challenge — for me and my staff.”
His transition from captain to coach seems like a natural evolution. Having mentored players across leagues since his retirement, he now steps into a leadership role that blends his strategic cricketing mind with years of on-field experience. Known for his infectious energy and team-first attitude, Bravo’s return to TKR signals more than just a staffing change — it suggests a renewed focus on culture, connection, and continuity within one of CPL’s most recognised franchises.
