Throwback time! Saswata Chatterjee brings back the memories of ‘Meghe Dhaka Tara’

Saswata Chatterjee who has taken his social media game a bit seriously these days often treats fans with his throwback pictures and what’s more interesting is Saswata’s choice of words in the caption or the quotes he shares with the pictures.The seasoned actor through his Instagram posts is taking us down memory lane every now and then.
This time around, the actor shared a still from his one of the most critically acclaimed films ‘Meghe Dhaka Tara’. In the picture, you can see Saswata giving an important shot while in a serious mood. In the caption, he shared a quote from Ritwik Ghatak whose life inspired the Kamaleswar Mukherjee directorial. “"I consider film-making to start with a personal thing. Saswata found himself so involved with the character of Nilkantha Bagchi that he wouldn’t even speak to his wife Mohua, for days during the shooting of the 2017 film ‘Meghe Dhaka Tara’. According to the actor, the film based on the biography of legendary filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak, remains one of his most satisfying works till date. ‘Meghe Dhaka Tara’, which means the cloud-capped star, couldn’t be a more befitting title for Ghatak.

Meanwhile, Saswata is all geared up for the release of his next film ‘Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri’.
