The trailer of the upcoming web series (six-episode drama) Khujechi Toke Raat Berate was unveiled today in the presence of lead actors Gaurav Chakrabarty, Swastika Dutta and Anindya Sengupta, along with director Abhimanyu Mukherjee. The series traces the life of Sohini, daughter of a celebrated painter, whose once-stable marriage begins to fracture as her husband Aditya spirals into debt and emotional detachment. In her growing isolation, she forms a bond with Subham, a struggling artist who reveres her father’s legacy. Their shared love for art draws them closer, turning a simple friendship into a forbidden relationship. The discovery of the affair pushes Aditya toward a dangerous ultimatum, triggering a chain of events that plunges all three characters into a web of passion, betrayal and escalating tension.Director described the series as an exploration of love at its “darkest edges,” where shifting truths and hidden motives keep the audience questioning every turn.
