What’s keeping Sayantani Guhathakurta busy these days

Sayantani Guhathakurta is enjoying her new role to the fullest. The talented actor has teamed up with popular TV actor Joyjit Banerjee for a standup comedy show Joyjit er Thek on YouTube and the two episodes released already have created quite a lot of buzz.
“The world is going through a lot right now. That is why we thought of creating such a humorous show which will benefit Bengalis worldwide.This is just a small attempt to make people laugh again while we all continue to battle against the pandemic. We have already shot eight episodes and if people like this show we will try to reach a bigger audience,” said Sayantani while speaking about her latest venture.

While Joyjit and Sayantani are hosting the show, many talented standup comedians have been roped in to deliver some powerful performances.
Meanwhile, Sayantani has some interesting projects coming up. She will play a key role in an upcoming web series and also a musical short film is being planned. The actress was last seen in a musical short ‘Chaander Haashi Baandh Bhengeche’ opposite Prantik Banerjee.
