‘Parineeta’ song ‘Shei Tumi’ is a melancholic melody

After topping the music charts with ‘Tomake’ sung by Shreya Ghosal, here comes another beautiful track ‘Shei Tumi’ from Raj Chakraborty’s next directorial ‘Parineeta’. It’s basically a melancholic melody about missing your loved one. Written, composed and sung by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, the lyrics are nicely smitten to express the pain of a girl who has lost the love of her life. Arko’s voice echoes the pain as well. But it would have been more touching if a female playback singer had been chosen for the song. Beside the touching composition and rendition, it’s the picturisation revolving around leading lady Subhashree Ganguly which wins hearts. Subhashree as Mehul can be seen as a grief stricken girl looking very much convincing in her part. Check out the music video here: The love saga, releasing on September 6, sees Subhashree and Ritwick Chakraborty pairing up for the first time. Beside Ritwick and Subhashree, Gaurav Chakraborty will be seen as big-shot realtor, owner of a big real estate company. The film also stars Adrit Roy, Laboni Sarkar and Tulika Basu in pivotal roles.
