Rupam Islam will soon be seen in an upcoming music project by young musician Akib Hayat. Besides Rupam, several other musicians, including
Nabarun Bose
, Anny Ahmed, Abhishek Nona Bhattacharya, Shibasish Banerjee, Tamal Kanti Halder and others, will also be seen in the music video that is shot in and around
Jadavpur
8B subway. Written and composed by Akib, the video, Mriter Chithi, will soon be released in online platforms.
While talking about the video, Akib said, “The uniqueness of it is that the whole shoot is done in an underground subway track. We will see all the musicians in that space.”
Speaking about the music, he added, “We are trying to produce something good for the Bangla music scene. We have put a lot of hard work to make this happen. I don’t think our audience has seen so many non-actors acting like pros before. I, along with my team, really put in our best effort to make everyone look fabulous in the video. I really hope people will like this innovative concept and music.”
