Surojit and Kartick Baul's medley with Canadian music rules Folk Fusion

A recent winter evening in the city was filled with the warmth of folk music as International Folk Fusion, featuring Surojit O Bondhura, Canadian band Mosaique and Kartick Das Baul, mesmerized one and all.
A packed-to-capacity auditorium saw Surojit Chatterjee render a medley of Kande sudhu mon along with the Canadian musicians, followed by songs like Tomar dekha nai and Faguner mohonay and many more.To top it all, Mosaique crooned Soye benis along with a few Canadian folk songs. “The idea was to bring together the various flavours of folk music. Elyse sang Moina re, which is part of the album that we are planning to bring out with Mosaique," Surojit said. We spotted singer Soumitra Roy enjoying the performance.
