Throwback photo of Lakkhichhara members bring back memories of their 1997 recording

Gaurab Chatterjee aka Gaboo of Lakkhichhara recently shared a throwback photo of the band members that dates back to 1997. Apart from young band members, the photo also includes a teenaged Parambrata Chattopadhyay. Gaurab's post reads, '#VintageLakkhichhara 1997. Some of the Lakkhichhara members with Tilak da and Chiquita. This was before going to the studio to record "E ki kotha Shuni Haye" for the Mohiner Ghoraguli Sampadito album Maya.(sic)'
"We were all in school back then, all around 15 years old.My sister and my cousin are also present in the photo. I found it today while generally going through some old albums and I couldn't resist the urge to post it and tagging all those present in the photo," Gaboo said.
The band members at that point of time were Gaurab, Sanket (both still Lakkhichhara members), Parambrata, Abhishek, Angshuman and Shayok, who is the only person missing in the photograph. "We clicked it just before boarding a taxi to go to a song recording. Gaboo and I are related. His father, late Gautam Chatterjee, had revived Mohiner Ghoraguli after the '70s run, with a number of albums in the '90s. This particular song was for the album Maya. We were young and interested in music. Kaku formed our band and composed the song for us. This was the first recording of my career," said Sanket.
