Arindam Sil takes initiative to stage a cafe musical by young theatre artistes

After its successful show at Openhouse, the young artistes of Whole 9 Yards are gearing up to stage its production, Taramandal, once again. “Adindamda (Sil, filmmaker) and Anindya Palit was present on our last show and they were very impressed. Later, he took initiative to stage another show of this café musical,” director Abhrajit Sen told us. The show will take place on August 3 at the Bengal Lounge.“Interestingly, most of our shows were initiated by the audience. Often, a member of the audience liked our show and organised another show later. We are really thankful to Arindamda for his help,” the director said.
