Brooke Shields, the ‘Mother of the Bride’ actress recently revealed the sweet gestures of the popstar,
Taylor Swift’s mother Andrea Swift during the ‘Eras Tour’, expressing her gratitude from ‘one mother to another’.
In an interview Call It What It Is podcast, Shields recalled attending the highest-grossing tour of all time, the ‘Eras Tour’ in November in the Rogers Centre in Ontario, Canada, with her daughters, Rowan and Grier, calling the experience ‘surreal’.
The actress referred to Andrea and said "She was so kind to my daughter, she gave her a bracelet off her wrist,” mentioning the tradition that the swifties generally exchange ‘friendship bracelets’, which is followed in the American singer’s tour, globally. ‘A Castle for Christmas’ actress shared a video, captioning "the very best night with my girls & “mama swift” 🫶 more to come!!!” about having one of her best times dancing with Andrea, where they were singing and enjoying Taylor’s songs. The actress and her daughters were sharing hugs and kisses with ‘Mama Swift’ during the concert. Shields shared a couple of posts, where one of them was captioned, “My reaction for the whole show 😂 In awe of @taylorswift!! Swipe to see my friendship bracelet collection from all of the nice “swifties” I met!!”
The co-host of the podcast ‘Call It What It Is’, Jessica Capshaw also shared her experience when she attended the concert in Paris with her daughter, Poppy, and Andrea embraced them with similar gestures as well, sharing friendship bracelets.
In the interview, they later started having a conversation about Taylor Swift’s documentary ‘Miss Americana’, discussing and applauding the singer for speaking about her body image and the struggles she went through.
Swift mentioned the body image issues she had in the early 2010s. Due to excessive comments on her figure by the media, and the pictures that were commented upon, she went through a phase of not having a healthy diet.
