Captain Marvel could lead a new set of superheroes in future films

While ‘Captain Marvel’ is raking in the moolah at the box office around the globe, fans are enjoying the new standalone female superhero. And now Marvel has dropped a tantalising hint the most powerful hero in the large Marvel Cinematic Universe will play an important role in future Avengers movies. In fact, fans could be treated to a new set of superheroes in the future, led by Captain Marvel.
It is said that she will also play a crucial role in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Endgame’ given that in the ‘Captain Marvel’ film, she was seen receiving a page from Nick Fury after Thanos destroyed half the universe with a snap of his fingers. There are strong rumours that many of the original Avengers will bid adieu to the franchise after this film, which is the fourth and final one in the franchise. Names on top of this list include Captain America and Iron Man while it is unknown what will happen to Black Widow, Hawk Eye, Thor and Hulk. Some fans suggest that Captain Marvel will make a new team comprising Ant Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther and The Wasp.
With the focus on Captain Marvel, her unique journey and how she realises her true identity, the film also focuses on the tension between Kree world and Skrulls. And given the fact she has the power of light-speed travel, fans are certain that future Captain marvel movies will be a visual treat.
