Disney's 'Frozen 2' has hit the theatres on November 22 and has been scoring huge at the box office. The sequel of 2013 Oscar-winning movie has collected $350.2 million over the weekend.
And with this, the film has smashed all the records and emerged as the largest-opening grosser animated film of all time.
Reportedly, in the U. S itself, the film has earned around $125 million in just three days. However, the film couldn't cross 'The Lion King' domestic collections which was $191 million.
'Frozen' has held the record of highest grossing animated film of all time, however, this year's 'The Lion King' is the new king!
In the film, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf will go on a journey to the north of Arendelle to find the origins of Elsa's magical powers.
'Frozen 2' is helmed by Jennifer Lee and
Chris Buck.
Idina Menzel,
Kristen Bell,
Jonathan Groff,
Josh Gad, and
Santino Fontana will return to voice the character from the first installment, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Hans respectively.
