She said, ���When I was 27, I joined the cast of Grey���s Anatomy. I was worried it would be weird.
However, Katherine soon realised being on the show would help promote a cause close to her heart ��� organ donation. She added, ���We all need to be aware that there���s a critical shortage of available organs and people���s lives are hanging in the balance. It���s hard, but we should consider it.���
