The social media was abuzz with speculation when 'Avengers: Infinity War' directors, Russo Brothers put up a picture on Instagram, claiming it to be the title reveal for 'Avengers 4'. What added to the mystery was when they deleted the post instantly.
The teaser was so true to the character of the directors, who were known to specialise in sitcoms much before they made a super successful transition to action with 'Infinity War'.
However, fans took a screenshot of the deleted post, which went viral, especially among Marvel fans.
The image is speculated to be a sign for artist Yayoi Kusama’s installation at Houston, called ‘Infinity Mirrored Room: Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity’. This reportedly got fans to come up with their own versions of the title, the most popular being 'Avengers: Eternity' and 'Avengers: Aftermath'.

The deleted post by Russo Brothers
The speculation over the titles are getting stronger because Marvel chief Kevin Feige reportedly said that it would be revealed closer to Captain Marvel’s release, or at the end of 2018. One such rumour that sprung up at the end of May, suggested that the title could probably be 'Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet '. It is believed to be a sure-shot title as the cast and crew reportedly called it that during the back-to-back filming of the two 'Avengers' movies. The gauntlet is said to be
Thanos’ weapon, which gave him the power to destroy half the universe in 'Infinity War'. What seems to cement at it being the title is when
Zoe Saldana reportedly made a slip on the red carpet for 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2', saying, "We all have to go back for 'Gauntlet' later this year.” The actress's character Gamora was killed in the last film.
The latest development on the title front came in July when
Trent Opaloch, the cinematographer of 'Avengers: Infinity War', 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'Captain America: Civil War' shared his list of credits on his website, the recent entry read, 'Avengers: End Game'. A large number of fans are convinced that this could be the title of 'Avengers 4'.
