International stars bitten by the alimony bug

Whether these celebs were married or not, they have had to cough up big bucks as alimony. One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is just the latest, who will pay a $33k monthly sum for the upkeep of his child who will be born early next year.

Louis Tomlinson One Direction star Tomlinson’s dalliance with Briana Jungwirth may have reportedly lasted little over two weeks, but that has cost him.He is facing a maintenance bill of $33k a month until the child is 18. Over and above that, he has also budgeted a reported amount running into millions, to house Briana and the baby-to-be a new home in a gated compound in Los Angeles.
Charlie SheenThe former Two And A Half Men star is known for his vitriolic tweets, where he often lashes out at various exes of his. Nonetheless, the payments continue. He pays out over $1.3 million each year to Donna Peele, Denise Richards and Brooke Muller, who are his ex-wives.

Nas Nas is a rapper based out of NYC. He has released eight consecutive platinum and multi-platinum albums and he has sold over 25 million records worldwide since 1994. He initially dished out $40,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife, but pleas from his lawyers proved effective and the amount was lowered to $25,000 a month, for now. Apart from that, he also pays another woman child support from a kid he had with her.

Mel Gibson The original Mad Max actor’s split with former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva towards the upkeep of their daughter Lucia totals up to $20,000 a month. But that’s not all. What must have bitten him the most was paying out half of his $850 million net worth to former wife Robyn Denise Moore which she can spend towards whatever she wants, including the upkeep of the seven kids they had together.
James Cameron Cameron certainly does not hold back when it comes to spending out big bucks on his films. His fourth ex-wife, actress Linda Hamilton, who you will recall was in the first two Terminator movies, terminated thair marriage after 1 year and five months. Oh, and she also picked up $50 million as part of their settlement. Child support included, of course for the daughter they had together.
Michael Douglas Douglas has a reputation for acting in some memorable movies. Whe he paid ex-wife Diandra Douglas $45 million, around the time he met his wife-to-be Catherine Zeta-Jones, it must also have been a somewhat memorable moment for him. Apart from this, he was ordered to pay her $45 million after their divorce, which included support for his son Cameron, who he had with her.
