Jeremy Renner, recently accused the 'Hawkeye' star of violent behavior and of sending her indecent photos without reason as well. The actor has denied all allegations related to the matter and has even issued a cease and desist order to her as well. In recent reports, the actor is finally making a public statement addressing all of the rumors that have been circulating online about him.
Jeremy Renner denies all allegations made by Yi Zhou
As per a statement given to Variety, the actor denied every single allegation that the female director presented against him in a social media post, which has since then gone viral.
Hi, the statement read that “the allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue.” Other than this, no other information has been provided by anyone related to the actor or the star himself. Zhou has also not issued any official statements after the main post was shared online by her.
Filmmaker Yi Zhou accuses Jeremy Renner of misconduct and violence
In a social media post made by the star director on November 3, the 37-year-old alleged that the 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' star shared unsolicited photos with her on her number.
The two, according to her statement, had met earlier this year in June and used the photos themselves to maintain contact with her.
Her post read, "He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship." She also shared that even after a private confrontation about the matter, instead of addressing the issue, the actor allegedly threatened her, stating that he would call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on her.
Jeremy Renner serves a cease and desist order
In response, as per Page Six reports, the actor denied all allegations and called them false. He also served a cease and desist order to the filmmaker as well. In turn, the 'Wind River' star, as per the reports, stated that she was the one who pursued him through continuous inappropriate texts. He stated in the official legal letter that while they had been involved, the matter was consensual and that he had ended everything in August earlier this year.
It was also added that Renner was the one who was threatened by the filmmaker. The report stated that the actor alleged that she was the one who said that she would falsely make it appear that the two were in a relationship, whereas that was not true.
