John Cena gets blamed for shocking split with Nikki Bella

For WWE fans and others, the news of their favourite couple - John Cena and Nikki Bella - splitting just a day ago, has come like a shock! Fans loved this power couple who have called it quits after six years of dating. Last year, at a wrestling event, John had gone down on one knee and proposed to Nikki in front of thousands of fans as she said ‘Yes!’ It was a jolt to fans who heard of their decision to part ways.
Confirming the news, their rep said that the two had announced their decision to separate as a couple after much contemplation and six years of being together. Nikki also shared their joint statement on Instagram with a caption ‘We love you all’. The joint statement reads as, “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.” Cena, however, who is known to upload cryptic Instagram posts, wrote, “Worst Day Ever!”

As per a magazine, it was Nikki who decided to pull the plug on the wedding but it was John to blame for his reluctance to marriage and kids. He was apparently against getting married and having kids, while she wanted to become a mother like her sister Brie Bella. A source added to the magazine that John has started to increasingly act like he was doing her a favour by saying yes to go ahead and marry her and that Nikki didn’t need a pity proposal, a pity wedding or a pity husband.
