Kylie Jenner and
Jennifer Lopez were among the many who came together to honor the life of celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero. The funeral service took place in his hometown of Houston, where family, close friends, and members of the beauty industry gathered to say their final goodbyes.
According to TMZ, Guerrero was deeply connected to the Hollywood glam scene, styling some of the biggest names in entertainment. One of his longtime clients, Katy Perry, was unable to attend the service due to tour preparations, but she reportedly reached out to his family to offer her support. Shortly after his passing, she also shared a heartfelt tribute online, remembering him as a kind and uplifting presence.
Jenner, who had a close working relationship with Guerrero for years, not only attended the service but also stepped in to assist his family with funeral expenses. As reported by TMZ, she helped cover the costs of transporting his body back to Houston. She later admitted that losing him had taken an emotional toll, even affecting her sleep.
Guerrero’s unexpected passing in February left many in shock. Prior to his death, he had reportedly lost 20 pounds and had been experiencing symptoms like chills and fever, though no one anticipated the tragedy that followed.
In a conversation with US Weekly, Guerrero’s sister, Gris, shared how much Jenner and Lopez’s gestures meant to their family. She revealed that Kylie had personally reached out, promising to do whatever she could to honor Guerrero’s memory. Gris also expressed deep appreciation for Lopez, acknowledging her kindness during such a difficult time.
At just 34, Guerrero’s life was cut short, but his impact on the beauty industry and those who knew him will continue to live on.
