His role as a lovesick vampire in romantic caper "The Twilight" may have earned him the title of a teen idol, but Robert Pattinson's dream is to become a rockstar. Pattinson played the mysterious vampire Edward Cullen in the film, who falls in love with a beautiful young girl. But the 22-year-old actor said he came into the world of movies because he wanted to make money.
"My sisters were saying 'You can't make money out of music'. I thought, 'Why not just see what happens with acting?" Pattinson now wants to record an album. "I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I don't care if people buy it or not," he told OK magazine. The teen star was first noticed in Harry Potter films where he played Quiddich captain and Triwizard Tournament contender Cedric Diggory in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.
