His family said in a statement on his Instagram account on Friday. "While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace," the statement read.Norris, who had a “tough guy” persona, was also someone who lived life to the fullest. One of his daughters, Danilee, described Norris as someone who "loved so deeply.” He had an insightful perspective towards life, and thus, his words of wisdom never failed to inspire. In one of his interviews, he said, “What you give out is what you are going to get back,” and that certainly reflects the kind of life he lived.
