Sarah Hyland reveals she was sexually harassed in high school
Sarah Hyland, who stars in ‘Modern Family’, has opened up about the time when she was sexually harassed in high school. Sharing her ‘Me Too’ story online, she said it was talking about it to support Christine Blasey Ford, who has been in the news for accusing US politician, Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her back in 1982 at a high school party. Apart from her, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick have also accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, who has been vehemently denying the claims.

Sarah wrote about her horrifying experience on social media. “He was a friend. It was New Year’s Eve my senior year of high school. Everyone was drunk. He broke into the bathroom I was in. I hoped it was a dream but my ripped tights proved otherwise. I thought no one would believe me. I didn’t want to be called dramatic. After all, I didn’t say no. Shock can do that to a person.”
The young actress also shared a strong video from the #TimesUp’s campaign that urges Kavanaugh to take back his nomination. While sharing the video, Sarah wrote that she firmly believes that all three women — Ford, Ramirez and Swetnick — are saying the truth. She added that ‘there is no path forward for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.’
Sarah is a part of the the increasing number of women, who have stepped forward to talk about their own personal sexual assault experiences. So far Busy Philipps, Padma Lakshmi, Lili Reinhart and Alyssa Milano have all been vocal about what they have undergone, and are urging women not to remain silent about their ordeals.
