Maria Elena is a mad character, more often seen in easy dresses, bare foot and fringed huge bags. She is a restless character and has to create some chaos wherever she is.My character from
To Rome with Love Anna, is well dressed, tucked in from head to toe. A lady who thinks she is helping society through prostitution. Anna is street smart, whereas Maria was mad and innocent too.
To Rome with Love is a comedy that follows the lives of various individuals, some of whom are American and some Italian, some residents and some visitors, all around the enchanted ancient city. The film, also sees the actor team with stalwarts like
Roberto Benigni,
Alec Baldwin and even a youngster like Jesse Eisenberg.
Talking about her experience of working with them, she says, “It was a very good experience working with each one of them. It was also interesting because we didn’t know about each others character and Woody let each one us give our inputs to the character. That made the experience awesome.”
