Tom Holland, the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ actor, suffered a major injury after falling off the set of his upcoming superhero film on Friday. Previously, the reports claimed that he had a mild concussion on the set; the updates state that he has a head bump after he fell as the pull ring snapped.
Tom Holland was rushed into the hospital
The paramedics took the 29-year-old actor to the hospital from Leavesden Studios in Watford for treatment, and the result was not as bad as the production crew had feared, according to the Daily Mail. “Filming was supposed to start again in London on Thursday, but for now the production team have been told to stand down for two weeks,” the report claimed, the production house is estimated to bleed approximately 1.5 million euros a day.
The costs for the production team, crew, and others would continue despite the pause. “It's a headache for any production to have to pause filming, but with a movie of this scale, it will be a huge migraine for the producers and studio,” the report further mentioned. Moreover, the two-week delay would not change the release date: July 31, 2026.
Tom Holland and his recent appearances
Meanwhile, Tom Holland is taking it easy as no one expects him to rush back on the set after an ambulance rushed him to the hospital from the studios. As safety and health come first, the shooting would hit the resume button only when the lead actor is well. Prior to shooting in the studios, Holland had made one of the rare public appearances with his beau,
Zendaya – and the pictures became a sensation on the internet as well. His father, Dominic Holland, confirmed that Tom would be taking a break from the screens and sets for a while.
