', after releasing her music video with Malaysian singer Resh. The singer-anchor said that she is on a hunt for India’s next international superstar. In a report, Monica said that she would be looking for star quality and captivating performance in any candidate.

She also added that she is planning to step back from live performances. Monica reportedly said in the past she had even paid festivals to perform and that is unfair to artistes. She added that she often agreed to perform in less money to promote music but now she needs to produce her own music and earn money.
