Music my saviour during divorce: Mariah Carey

Pop diva Mariah Carey has revealed she used singing to get through her heartbreaking divorce from "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon.

Carey, 45, said it was getting back on to the stage after a five-year break that saved her from herself, reported Daily Mirror.

Carey's divorce from Cannon was finalised in April after six years of marriage.
"Music was and always will be my saving grace. Because of that, there was never a moment when I didn't believe that all things are possible," she said.
"My mother always encouraged me to believe in myself, she'd say, 'Don't say if I make it, say when I make it'."
