Snow Patrol unveils its Divergent song 'I Won't Let You Go'

Divergent has a new Snow Patrol on its soundtrack, ‘I won’t let you go’ on their Sound Cloud account. The track follows Snow Patrol's 2013 single 'The Lightning Strike (What If This Storm Ends?)', which featured on their greatest hits collection.
Joining Zedd, Ellie Goulding and Snow Patrol for Divergent soundtrack are other renowned artists like Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Skrillex and A$AP Rocky.Singer Ellie Goulding recently recorded a new song called Beating Heart for the movie and the soundtrack album will also feature few songs from her album, "Halcyon".
Based on the novel by Veronica Roth of the same name, Divergent is based in futuristic Chicago in which people are tested when they are young and subsequently divided into five factions based on their personalities and virtues. Each represents a different virtue, and teenagers have to decide if they want to stay in their faction or switch to another - for the rest of their lives. The film casts 21 year old Shailene Woodley in the lead as Beatrice “Tris” Prior along with Theo James. Oscar winner Kate Winslet will also be in her first ever negative role as Jeanine Matthews.
